NOTE: This authorization is for the purchase of paving services and sidewalk installations of various streets inside the Lakes Neighborhood for fiscal years 23/24 and 24/25. The materials, delivery and installation will be provided by Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC, (5100 W. Lemon Street, Suite 106, Tampa, FL 33609) who is under contract with Hillsborough County. The total cost for this project will not exceed $1,807,122.36; $1,050,000.00 to be charged to Lakes Subdivision Sidewalk and Paving, account 301481-562538 (24481-176-CONSTR) and $727,122.36 to be charged to Citywide Street Resurfacing Program, account 301481-562538 (24484/104-PROGRAM-CONSTRUT). The amount budgeted for this project is $1,807,122.36.
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization to purchase, under Hillsborough County Bid 19970, paving services and sidewalk installations provided by Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC, in the amount not to exceed $1,807,122.36 for fiscal years 23/24 through 24/25 to be charged to the appropriate accounts.
