NOTE: This item authorizes the purchase of six compact weapon systems from Sniper Arms 233 South Federal Highway, Suite 110, Boca Raton, FL 33432 for $19,767.00.
These six compact weapon systems will be utilized by undercover detectives. These specialized weapon systems are compact and allow for concealed carry during undercover operations, which our current weapon systems do not allow. The equipment will benefit the community by giving our detectives advanced resources during undercover operations to combat crime within the City.
An amount of $19,767.00 will be for the purchase of the equipment and contingencies associated with training and implementation associated with the equipment charged to forfeiture account 104-212-5-621-08.
Pursuant to Florida Statute 932.7055(5)(c1), this is to certify that this proposed expenditure complies with the State required provisions for the expenditure of these funds.

ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization to purchase six compact weapon systems from Sniper Arms funded by State forfeiture funds. The total cost for this purchase is $19,767.00 and will be charged to the appropriate account.
