AUTHORIZATION FOR THE STORMWATER UTILITY FEE MITIGATION CREDIT PROGRAM

NOTE: Authorization to administer a Stormwater Utility Fee Mitigation Credit Program as adopted in Ordinance No. 4269 by City Council on August 8, 2024. The Credit Program aims to incentivize property owners to proactively manage stormwater on their property in exchange for a yearly credit on their assessment thereby encouraging effective stormwater management and reducing the burden on the overall stormwater system. Providing a credit towards stormwater utility fees can also help to maintain equity for property owners with onsite stormwater management because they are investing in measures to reduce stormwater runoff from their property.
