AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PINELLAS PARK AND NICOLE SALGAR

NOTE: In November 2024, a call for artists was advertised to create a mural for the Library. A selection committee composed of City staff, art experts, and Pinellas Park teens reviewed and scored the submissions. Artist Nicole Salgar was selected. The proposed contract is for the services of Nicole Salgar to paint the mural at the Library.
The total cost of the mural will be $42,000.00, paid in one installment. Payments will be charged to account number 301175-562520 and project number 23175/205.
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization for the City Manager to sign a purchase agreement between the City of Pinellas Park and Nicole Salgar for a mural.
