AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PINELLAS PARK AND ANTHONY FREESE

NOTE: In November 2024, a call for artists was advertised to create a mural for the Teen Center. A selection committee composed of City staff, art experts, and Pinellas Park teens reviewed and scored the submissions. Artist Anthony Freese was selected. The proposed contract is for the services of Anthony Freese to paint the mural at the Teen Center.
The total cost of the mural will be $47,000.00, paid in one installment. Payments will be charged to account number 301175-562520 and project number 23175/205.
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization for the City Manager to sign a purchase agreement between the City of Pinellas Park and Anthony Freese for a mural.
