NOTE: This item authorizes the purchase of two rifles and scopes from Geissele Automatics Inc 800 E. Walnut Street, North Wales, PA 19454 for $9,018.00.
The requested rifles will be utilized by SWAT members to address an operational gap between standard-issue rifles and sniper rifles.
An amount of $9,018.00 will be for the purchase of the equipment and contingencies associated with training and implementation associated with the equipment charged to forfeiture account 104-212-5-621-08.
Pursuant to Florida Statute 932.7055(5)(c1), this is to certify that this proposed expenditure complies with the State required provisions for the expenditure of these funds.
