AUTHORIZATION FOR MAYOR AND POLICE CHIEF TO SIGN AN EXTENSION OF SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH AXON ENTERPRISE, INC - Police Department

NOTE: The intent of this agreement is to extend the original Axon Agreement with the Police Department to ten years and includes updated services and equipment. This contract includes new Taser conducted energy weapons, new body worn cameras, and the accompanied media and data support.
This authorizes the extension of Axon’s equipment and services agreement from Axon Enterprise, Inc., 17800 N 85th Street Scottsdale, Arizona, a sole source provider. The total cost of the ten-year agreement for all equipment and services is $6,103,795.13. The first year of the agreement will cost $350,000 and will be charged to account 501-212-533110. The second through ninth year of the agreement will cost $639,310.57 a year and will be charged to account 501-212-533110.
