ORDINANCE NO. 4283. AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4272 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/25 BUDGET

NOTE: This is our first budget amendment for this fiscal year. We are budgeting funds in the General fund for market adjustments in salaries of $301,115.00 and four new Police Cadet positions in total of $223,496.00. In addition, we are bringing forward from last fiscal year (items that were not done) equipment & vehicle purchases of $1,907,829.00 and Capital projects in total $30,300,283.00.
Note that Police vehicles costs represent in total $1,050,671.00 of the total equipment & vehicle purchases. As a result of these changes, the total city budget will increase by $32,198,206.00. This will revise the grand total budget amount for all city funds to $271,210,062.00.
