NOTE: This item is for the purchase, installation and replacement of sidewalks in the Fairlawn neighborhood and along 69th Street west of 66th Street. The materials, delivery, and installation will be provided by Central Florida Contractors, Inc. (13345 Pine Bark Court, Largo, FL 33774) who is currently under contract with the City of Clearwater. The total cost for this project will not exceed $490,000.00 and will be charged to New Sidewalk and Accessibility Ramp Program, account 301481-562538,23481/108-Program-Construt ($150,000.00); Sidewalk and Accessibility Ramp Repair and Replacement ADA Program, account: 301481-562538, 23481/105-Program-Construt ($165,000.00); 69th Avenue Sidewalk Project, account: 301481-562538, 23481/102-Program Construt ($175,000.00). The amount budgeted for this program is $490,000.00 (FY 22-23 adopted budget).
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization to purchase under the City of Clearwater Contract 20-0026-EN, sidewalk services provided by Central Florida Contractors, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $490,000.00, to be charged to the appropriate accounts.
