NOTE: This item is for the purchase of dredging services for two ponds in the Beacon Run neighborhood. This project is part of a state appropriation. The services will be provided by Bayside Dredging (5035 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater, FL 33760) who is currently under contract with the City of Tampa. The total cost for this project will not exceed $822,500.00 and will be charged to account 301382-562520,23382/706-Constr ($259,250.00, South Beacon Run Pond) and 301382-562520, 23382/707 ($563,250.00 Beacon Run North Pond). The amount budgeted for this program is $900,000.00 (FY 23-24 adopted budget CIP pg 12).
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization to purchase under the City of Tampa Bid 101100422, dredging services provided by Bayside Dredging in the amount, not to exceed, $822,500.00, to be charged to the appropriate account.
