NOTE: This is an Agreement and Contract with the Florida Department of Transportation establishing a Speeding and Aggressive Driving Enforcement campaign within the City of Pinellas Park. The agreement provides grant funds totaling $100,000 provided by the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), for the purpose of High Visibility Enforcement of high-risk areas with the greatest number of crashes, serious injuries, fatalities, and/or traffic violations (citations).
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve-Deny) Authorization for the City Manager to sign an Agreement and Contract with the Florida Department of Transportation to establish High Visibility Enforcement of high-risk areas with the greatest number of crashes, serious injuries, fatalities, and/or traffic violations (citations). The campaign is to be funded through FDOT grant funds in the amount of $100,000.
