NOTE: This authorization is for the purchase of paving services of various streets for fiscal years 23/24 and 24/25. The materials, delivery, and installation will be provided by Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC, (5100 W. Lemon Street, Suite 106, Tampa, FL 33609) who is currently under contract with Hillsborough County. The total cost for this project will not exceed $1,800,000.00, $900,000.00 per fiscal year. $700,000.00 to be charged to City-wide Street Resurfacing Program, account 301481-562538 (24481/104-PROGRAM-CONSTRUT) and $200,000.00 to Replacement of Existing Curb Program, account 301481-562538 (24481/108-PROGRAM-CONSTRUT). The amount budgeted for this project is $900,000.00 per year.
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization to purchase under Hillsborough County Bid 19970, paving services provided by Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC, in the amount, not to exceed $1,800,00.00 for fiscal years 23/24 through 24/25, to be charged to the appropriate accounts.
