NOTE: This is an agreement with the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to conduct water quality improvements that will restore the Beacon Run North and South Ponds to their original capacity. This agreement provides grant funds in the amount of $450,000. The City's match is listed in the Fiscal Years 2023/2024-2027/2028 Capital Improvements Program on page 297 of the FY 2023/2024 approved budget. The FDEP does not list matching funds under Section 5 of the agreement (see Exhibit B - email from Kamaria Waddy with the FDEP dated October 5, 2023).
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization for the City Manager to sign Agreement Number LPA0616 with the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
