AUTHORIZATION FOR APPROVAL TO PURCHASE AMMUNITION

NOTE: This is a request to authorize the police department to acquire duty and training ammunition from Florida Bullet. The purchase is for 50 cases of Federal Tactical Bonded Duty and 40 cases of Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics Pistol Ammunition, 9mm, Full Metal Jacket. The total for ammunition is $25,891.00.
Chief Adam Geissenberger is requesting funding through our Confiscated Property Fund. Pursuant to Florida Statute 932.704(3)(a), this is to certify that this proposed expenditure complies with the State required provisions for expenditure of these funds.
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve-Deny) Authorization to purchase ammunition totaling $25,891.00 from Florida Bullet, Inc., P.O.Box 1122, Oldsmar, Fl 34677 using the funds from the Confiscated Property Fund Operating Account 104-212-5-331-09.
