PROMULGATION OF THE CITY OF PINELLAS PARK 2019 ALL HAZARDS EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN (EOP)

NOTE: The City of Pinellas Park 2019 Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) provides a framework of guidance upon which the City intends to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disaster events that affect the health, safety and welfare of its citizens. This plan is organized as the Base Plan, with supporting Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery Annexes, Department-Level Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP), the Debris Management Plan, and other supporting policies and procedures.
The Emergency Operations Plan was developed in concert with a consulting firm, The Olson Group, Ltd., and the City of Pinellas Park Planning Team made up of the Pinellas Park Fire Chief, the Emergency Management Coordinator, the City Manager and City Department Administrators. The Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and distribution of the Plan.
Recommendation
ACTION: Promulgate the City of Pinellas Park 2019 All Hazards Emergency Operations Plan (EOP).
