AUTHORIZATION FOR MAYOR TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH PRECISE PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, LLC. - GROUNDS & LANDSCAPE SERVICES - For RFP 19/005

NOTE: In accordance with Resolution 15-12, at the City Council meeting on February 27, 2020, the City Manager was directed by City Council to enter into negotiations with the top two ranked firms. The firm of Precise Property Maintenance, LLC was ranked the most qualified of five firms for grounds and landscape services. Those negotiations have been held, and Precise Property Maintenance, LLC has been awarded contract Sections A) - Facilities, and B) - Parks. For Section A, an amount of $97,015.00 has been determined to be a fair cost for these services to be charged to account # 001412-551655, Grounds Maintenance. For Section B, an amount of $86,715.00 has been determined to be a fair cost for these services to be charged to account # 001731-551655, Grounds Maintenance. This is a one (1) year contract with the possibility of four (4) one (1) year renewals, based on satisfactory performance and the agreement of the contractor and City of Pinellas Park.
The total amount for this contract is not to exceed $183,730.00.
Recommendation
ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization to enter into a contract with Precise Property Maintenance, LLC., for Grounds and Landscape Services, in the amount not to exceed $183,730.00 to be charged to the appropriate account, with the possibility of four (4) one (1) year renewals, based on satisfactory performance and the agreement of the contractor and City of Pinellas Park.
