NOTE: On October 1, 2020, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated $400,242 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to the City. Funds will be used to address two priority areas of need as identified through citizen participation and research conducted by staff. The priorities are: 1) Public Facilities and Infrastructure improvements totaling $320,184 and 2) Planning and Administration in the amount of $80,048.
Public Facilities improvements will take place at the Youth Park Complex. The Youth Park Safety & Mobility Project will comprise of parking lot improvements, construction of sidewalks, curbs and a pedestrian walkover, drainage improvements, and installation of lighting. Planning and Administration activities consist of expenses incurred for managing, reporting, and continuing the City’s efforts to further fair housing.
CDBG program funds do not require a City match.

ACTION: (Adopt - Deny) Resolution No. 20-32. Public hearing, first and final reading.
