NOTE: The intent of this agreement is to facilitate the purchase of Axon’s Officer Safety Package 7+, a five year services and equipment contract to include Taser conducted energy weapons, body worn cameras, and the accompanied media and data support.
This authorizes the purchase of Axon’s Officer Safety Package 7+ from Axon Enterprise, Inc., 17800 N 85th Street, Scottsdale, Arizona, a sole source provider. The total cost of the five year agreement for all equipment and services is $1,350,796.00. The first year of the agreement will cost $140,000.00. The fees of $62,910.00 attributed to the body worn cameras will be charged to account 001-212-5-621-08. The support services and licensing fees, $77,090 will be charged to account 001-211-5-517-62.

ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization for the Mayor and Police Chief to sign a five year services agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc., 17800 N 85th Street, Scottsdale, Arizona, a sole source provider of Axon’s Officer Safety Package 7+, for a total cost of $1,350,796.00.
